Ok!" at the Estrogenius Festival at Manhattan Theatre Source at 8:00 p.m. at 177 MacDougal Street (bet. 8th St & Waverly Pl.) Cummings was in attendance for the Q&A after the screenings. Admission is $13. May 15, 2008 –Staged reading of the feature-length script of "Weeki Wachee Girls" to be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Garden School at 33-16 79th Street, Jackson Heights, NY. Free Admission. May 18, 2008 –"Weeki Wachee Girls" (the short film) screened at Cinemarosa Queer Film Series at 3:00 p.m. at the Queens Museum of Art. Free Admission. April
25, 2008 –Awesome 80's Dance Party to benefit "Weeki Wachee Girls" hosted by Deirdre McKenna and Ana Valenza. 8:00 p.m. at Indigo - 25-40 31st Ave., Astoria, NY. Raised over $1000! April 19, 2008 –"Flower of A Girl" screening at the da Vinci Days Film Festival in Corvallis, Oregon April 17, 2008 –Fund-raiser for "That's What She Told Me" at 6:00 p.m. at Bar 9 at 807 9th Ave. in New York. Cummings will be in attendance. April 3, 2008 – "Flower of A Girl" screened at the Emory Reel Connection Film Festival in New York at the TriBeCa Screening Room, 54 Varick Street. January 26, 2008 – Cummings attends the Queens Pride Committee Winter Pride Dinner Dance, where 500 DVDs of the short film “Weeki Wachee Girls” will be distributed to all attendees. January
24, 2008 – Cummings attends the Queens Council on the
Arts awards ceremony to receive her grant of $2000 for a staged
reading of “Weeki Wachee Girls.” November
8, 2007 – Cummings holds her first fundraiser for the
feature version of “Weeki Wachee Girls.” Raised over
$4000!
